Tara Truax Companies, LLC (“TTC,”) owns and operates this TaraTruax.com website business. All references to “we”, “us”, “our”, this “website” or this “site” shall be construed to mean TTC.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and without prior notice. The date of this revision will be posted at the top of the Privacy Policy and changes will be made to this agreement.

What Information is Collected: For each visit to our Web site, our Web server automatically recognizes, through services such as Google Analytics, your IP address, but not the e-mail address, unless you volunteer your e-mail address to us by filling out a Web form. Additionally, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site you visited, the time you spend on those pages, the amount of time you spent on the pages, the time and day you were on the site, and other information we can gather to better improve your experience.

If you go to our site via a mobile device, information regarding your device or app may be collected.

We electronically collect the e-mail addresses and name of those who complete online web forms, of those who communicate with us via e-mail, those who complete a survey, place an order, respond to a survey or register on our site.

The financial data we collect is to process a payment for a service or product. What We Use Your Information For: The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web site, used to notify you about updates to our Web site, fulfill order processing, and used by us to contact you for services information and marketing purposes targeted to your specific needs.

TTC uses the social media pixels in compliance with the policies of the various social media sites.

Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of this site, to prepare reports on its activities, and to share them with other Google services. To request removal of your date please email Tara@TaraTruax.com Note that while we will remove your data that is publicly posted on our website, we may not be able to completely remove the data from our system. In California, you have the right to obtain from us, once per year and free of charge, information regarding what information we disclose to third party marketers, and the names and addresses of each third party to whom we disclose your data. Social Media: We invite you to socialize and share your participation with this site and purchases. If you choose to use social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Instagram, you will be allowing interaction with these platforms or other external platforms directly from this site, and in the process, you may be sharing certain profile elements, including your comments. This sharing is subject to each social media program’s privacy policies.

How Do We Protect Your Information: We will implement reasonable and appropriate security procedures consistent with prevailing industry standards to protect data from unauthorized access by physical and electronic intrusion. 

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or method of data storage can be guaranteed 100% secure. 

Therefore, while we strive to protect your Personal Information by following generally accepted industry standards, we cannot ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit to us or archive at this site.

When you transmit Personal Information through our registration process or if you purchase products or services, we encrypt that information in transit using secure socket layer technology (SSL). For this reason, we request that you do not send private information over email and that doing so is done at your own risk.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will be kept on file for more than 60 days to fulfill payment plans and provide payment options for your order. When this information is no longer needed it will be shredded.

Any personal information which we may collect on this site will be stored and processed in our servers located only in the United States. By using this site, if you reside outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of personal information outside your country of residence to the United States.

You acknowledge that the personal information you voluntarily share with us through this site could be accessed or tampered with by a third party and that we TTC is not responsible for intercepted information shared through our site without our knowledge or permission. Additionally, you release TTC from all claims arising out of or related to the use of such intercepted information in any unauthorized manner.

Some of these emails from us may contain promotional offers on behalf of third party marketing partners which we select; however, in these instances, we do NOT share your Personal Information with the third-party marketing partner for purposes of the mailing; we do the mailing for them. However, if you do click on any of the links to their websites or accept any of these promotional offers, your click-through information and any information that you provide in the process of registration or purchase will be transferred to these sites. We have no responsibility or liability for the policies and practices of these sites. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority that has jurisdiction over issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation.

We require only the information that is reasonably required to enter into a contract with you.

We will not require you to provide consent for any unnecessary processing as a condition of entering into a contract with us.

Entire Agreement: The information contained herein constitutes the entire agreement between you and TTC relating to the use of this website.

Law and Jurisdiction: This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with United States law. Any dispute arising out of or related to the information contained herein is subject to adjudication in the state of Washington.
